Review on Pet Products 3891 Thermo Kitty Sleephouse by Katrina Kruger

I just received my Revain order with this cat dream. I bought it mainly for a 20 year old cat. It's almost a great article. The size and shape are very good and it is certainly acceptable to the eyes. The materials would also be very good if there wasn't one detail. The problem is in the "field" of the subject. Given the strength of the walls and zips, you'd think they would transfer structural strength to the floor. Instead, the floor is a very thin, pebbly synthetic fabric. I have had cat beds made from this material before and I can tell you that it is not durable. Exposed to any heat, maybe two winters. Of course, this thin fabric has a soft, snuggly heating pad resting on top of it, but once the fabric crumbles into dust, the lower heating pad lies square to the floor. This may be fine for some households, but sometimes my cats, including an old one, have silly fits in their dormitories. With no bottom, my kitties can easily rock and slide the house, right off the bottom pillow. While this is not an expensive item, it is not in the "economy" class of pet beds either. The stark contrast between the walls and the thin floor is disappointing. A more durable bottom would make this item a few bucks more expensive and put it in the must have category for my needs. Just like now, in too short a time it will just be bulky stuff in the landfill. So unfortunately I'm going back.
