This is a great solution to a trailer tongue that is "too long" and doesn't fit in the garage. We suggest you think about it before cutting. You'll need to move the safety chains back behind the new drop-down hitch, so plan accordingly. Instructions and online videos are great. Installing the product will require cutting off the tongue, so make sure you have the right tools for the job. Drilling 1/2 inch diameter holes requires a real drill, and the instructions suggest using multiple sizes of drill to make working to full size easier. Very good advice. Also consider if you have access to a welding machine, buy corner welding. much less installation time if you have the hardware or a supplier who can do this for you. Good product! My problem solved!
