This person is medium height, if you are used to carrying a large bag, and I am not that type of person, this is not a person for you, it has inside pockets and the bottom doesn't touch so anything you put in a pocket will most likely be moved to the front or back pocket like a lipstick so you have to dig in it is very well packaged and the loop is amazing. I love it, it's a great accent to any outfit whether you're wearing jeans, going out. I bought red for an extra pop of color. So for me it works fine, I also love the fact that it has an alternate shoulder strap if that's what you want. Hope that helps
