This review is based on Trafalgar. This is a decent shaving cream but overpriced for what it does. I'll start by recently using ready-made shaving cream and several boutique shaving soaps. While I expect great results from these soaps, the cream I am talking about is everywhere and feels really thick and soft for the price and protects your face at an incredible price. Unfortunately, this cream is not Trafalgar from Truefitt & Hill. I won't say this is a bad cream because it's definitely a step up from the usual off the shelf cream jar. However, the package of this cream costs about $30, making it more expensive than my boutique soap with incredible properties, aftershave nutrition, and fragrances. However, I really appreciate Trafalgar as a fragrance. The best way I can explain it is that it looks like a gin and tonic with a lime hanging from the rim. It's floral and fresh, with a citrusy top note, complex and strong enough to last into the morning. To sum up, Trafalgar is a decent performer with a good scent, although lacking in softness and aftershave care. This product would get an extra star if it was $10-$15 a tube instead of $20+.
