Well, it works well to power my iPhone when I'm driving it.

My iPhone works fine when I ride my motorbike and the navigation app is running. I fully charge my phone and keep it charged. I'm using this with a 12" Lightning cable and it works great. Plugs right into my aftermarket power port, stays in place and keeps my phone charged. What else can you ask? I have a spare port for something else in the future. Maybe a camera?
