Review on 🚤 Five OceansMarine Boat LED All Round Anchor Stern Light - Nature White, 9 inches, Surface Mount by Mark Colbert

Rarely do you buy a replacement part for your boat that is easy to install and of the highest quality. My 1987 Catalina 27 blew out the anchor light and I tried to get the LED string but it didn't fit properly in the socket. I also broke part of the plastic cover trying to remove the old one so figured I should just replace the whole unit. Catalina Direct didn't have a good LED replacement option so I tried these from Five Oceans. I was able to solder its wires to the old ones and plug them into the extension tube, then attach the new light to the old base using the existing mounting screws. This lantern has a nice design with lots of mounting holes all around so chances are at least one pair will match the old one. In this case I was able to get all three existing screws to work with the new bracket. I hope to have many years of this light. The plastic lens seems fairly durable and has a rubber grommet where it screws into the base so it should stay weatherproof.
