Review on WD_Black SN850 Internal Gaming Solid by Hank Mistretta

Installed this disc and installed Windows and now I'm getting closer to speed performance after having to change a few things. Please read my tips, they can help you and save you from disappointment and possibly even a return. To get the best speed, it must be installed on a PCIe 4.0 compatible motherboard with a PCIe 4.0 compatible processor. I use this in the Asus X570 Tuf Gaming Plus with Ryzen 3900X. This also needs to be installed in the M.2 slot closest to the CPU that has a direct connection to the CPU. I originally had it in the bottom slot under the PCIe slots and this is connected to the slower chipset, I wrote at about half speed at first until I switched. You also need to download and install WD SSD Dashboard so you can enable game mode, otherwise the speed won't be as great. After those two things, I'm now approaching the advertised speeds and I'm satisfied. I will update my review if anything changes in the future.
