When I was young, Philips was a respected multinational company with its headquarters in Amsterdam. He made some of the finest electrical equipment in the world. Oh how the mighty have fallen: this blue-chip company has turned brown. When I first got my Sonicare toothbrush it was great although it had some weird hiccups. After a few days the hiccups stopped. Then, after three weeks, the engine pretty much quit - it made a slight whirring, but did not vibrate. Luckily I registered it for the included warranty - they'll replace it, right? It turns out not. I have contacted her. They had me run a series of checks and tests on the Sonicare toothbrush. They said it was a suitable replacement and later issued an RMA. They sent me a FedEx label and told me how to return it. I sent it off the next morning and then heard from Philips………. Nothing. I have since contacted Philips and asked for a replacement. They have a record from FedEx confirming that I returned the defective unit. But they will not replace my block. So "buyers beware". Don't buy products from unscrupulous, unethical companies.
