Useless Oral Care Guarantee

When I was young, Philips was a respected multinational company with its headquarters in Amsterdam. He made some of the finest electrical equipment in the world. Oh how the mighty have fallen: this blue-chip company has turned brown. When I first got my Sonicare toothbrush it was great although it had some weird hiccups. After a few days the hiccups stopped. Then, after three weeks, the engine pretty much quit - it made a slight whirring, but did not vibrate. Luckily I registered it for the…

Completely changed my brushing habits

I've always had sensitive teeth and gums and my dentist keeps telling me that I'm brushing too hard and my gums are sagging. I try and remember not to push as hard, but I forget pretty quickly. After a lot of research I finally decided on Sonicare and I am very happy with it. I love the 4 to 30 second timers that tell you when to switch sides and when to brush your teeth for the full 2 minutes. I no longer press on my teeth, I have less sensitivity issues and I've noticed my teeth are a shade…

I can't imagine going back.

This toothbrush is fantastic. I really had no idea what was wrong with me until my dental hygienist suggested I buy one. I'm so glad I did. If you're wondering which Phillips speaker to buy, this seems like a solid choice. You don't need all the bells and whistles of the more expensive ones. From what I've found out, all of the options actually do the same thing with minor differences. While I think this product is fantastic, I'm deducting a star because of the travel case. This is pure…

Top quality $100 off

I had a Philips Diamond Care toothbrush that cost about $170. The battery died after two years and I wanted to try something new, so I bought this electric toothbrush. If you don't care about the different modes that high-end toothbrushes offer, then this is perfect. With my Diamond Care toothbrush, I always set it on the "Brighten" setting and never played around with the other settings it seemed. be equal. Considering the price I was not impressed at all with the care of the diamonds…

I don't usually write reviews but I felt it.

I don't usually write reviews but thought I had to comment on this product. This is the second Philips Sonicare toothbrush I have bought. I think I thought they might have improved over the years. Not correct! The first one I bought took just under a year to charge. This second one was bought in November so lasted a little less than 7 months. I'm sorry, but when I'm spending $80 on a toothbrush, I expect a little more. In the 2 1/2 year gap between the two Phillips products I had a Water Pik…

Improved design, great toothbrush, no buzz

According to the specifications, all Sonicare toothbrushes are pretty much the same - they all vibrate at the same speed (31,000 bpm) and can be used with a wide range of available brush heads (with exception of the older Essence line). That said, they all clean your teeth incredibly, and if you've never used them, a real treat awaits. The difference between the models is sometimes subtle, often more than vague - all the bells and whistles are of dubious value. Often times, the simpler the…

I love Sonicare toothbrushes

I love Sonicare toothbrushes. Before HealthyWhite+ I had two Diamond Clean models. Both Diamond Cleans died after a few years of use. I chose this model to save some money. I have no complaints about the toothbrush's ability to do its job effectively. I will say that on this model the toothbrush heads are more difficult to remove and put on. Because of this, I forced my wife to get her own toothbrush to minimize wear and tear. Diamond Clean has more premium parts than HealthyWhite+. Diamond…

Beeps while charging - great warranty service

After 2 years and 3 weeks my Healthy White Plus toothbrush stopped working. While it was on the cradle, it would emit repeated beeps that sounded like slow Morse code (1 long, 2 short). Shortly thereafter, the brush did not turn on, although some LEDs were lit (green). I did a google search and found that others had the same issue (check the Sonicare facebook page). I've tried charging the brush for 24 hours and then holding the power button for a few seconds to reset the brush as others have…

I would buy again and again!

Lately I've been worried about the current condition of my teeth. I've been prone to tooth decay since I was young, although I practice healthy oral hygiene at home. I've spent countless dollars on dental work over the past few years and thought I might need to invest in an electric toothbrush instead of a manual toothbrush. After lots of research and thousands of reviews, I decided on a Philips Sonicare electric toothbrush. I've only been using this product for a few weeks and WOW I've already
