I must have bought dozens of these styles for projects in the last 2-3 years. The quality of the kits is getting better every time. I recently bought one from Amazon that was shockingly good. This Volivo device is the worst quality and cheapest device I have ever had. The LED strip is very thin and paper thin, there is no connector at the end to connect the LED strip to the power supply, the clampable pins just dangle around. into a power adapter about the size of a laptop charger. There are no connector blocks etc to cut and reattach the LED strip. This is the first kit I've bought that doesn't include any of these parts. The only reason I keep this one is because I need a continuous 30ft strip and there aren't that many. I haven't measured it yet, if it's not enough I'll be sure to send it back.
