I used to install LED turn signal bulbs in my 2011 Toyota Tacoma. The bulbs I installed (pictured left) had no LEDs on the front of the bulb and this was causing a rapid blink that would indicate a blown bulb. I have found that I would need to install terminators in both turn signals to eliminate the rapid flashing. The lack of LEDs on the front of the lamps severely limited the brightness of the turn signal. I ordered these (right side of picture) replacing other LED bulbs I have installed and they are great! Very bright and now the turn signals no longer have the problem of flashing quickly. As you can see in the picture, there are 6 diodes on the right side of the front of the lamp.
