First impressions are great, easy to assemble and looks like a good quality item. I give 4 stars for the workmanship as the height adjustment is not obvious. . You think you lower your hand to the desired height and then loosen/pull out the allen wrench under the yellow sticker pointing to the height locking screw. In fact, the opposite is true; You loosen/tighten the screw and then adjust it to the desired height. If the monitor moves up/down when you release it, you need to re-tighten or loosen this screw. Repeat this until the monitor stays at the desired height without moving or staying in place. Don't put the monitor down because at first glance it looks like you really can't. I found that I either misread the instruction manual or it just wasn't explained well. After figuring that out, the stand worked fine for me. I will come back and update this review in time if there are any updates or new issues. I'm very happy so far and may buy two more for my side monitors, but we'll see. At the moment I take the following position: If you want an incredibly beautiful monitor stand for little money, you better grab this one.
