Of the pluses - a very large carrier. I made a single layer sponge in a 9 inch pan and it looked tiny in this huge container. However, there are a few poor design choices that make me wish I'd paid a little more for a different medium. First, just below the handle, they decided to hide the plastic "navel," which is the rough, raised area left over from the mold. Unfortunately, it's also exactly where your knuckles go when you're carrying your cake, which is inconvenient to say the least. The clasps to hold the top are cheap and look like they will 'bend and break' on a large/heavy cake. Finally, the bottom of the holder is hollow, with plastic supports criss-crossing throughout. So if you're a messy baker like me, you're going to have a hard time cleaning all those crevices. I would recommend skipping this medium and going for something more thoughtful.
