Blunt wiring for seasonal decor
Got this to pair with a similarly lit tree (different brand) on my patio. It's fine if you bend and shape the branches, but the wiring path for the power cord is just plain dumb: it comes out of the UP section, not the BOTTOM section or the BASE. The tape that wraps around the bar is flimsy and obviously cheap looking. The bottom stem and base have a solid end (no holes for the cord) so I took a hole saw and made my own. This allowed me to stick the cable to the ground, which honestly shouldn't be designed that way in the first place. The LEDs are nice and bright and the cable is long. But it's crazy that the manufacturer doesn't understand that with such a valuable product, the power cord has to come out the bottom.
