Updated after a year (6/17/2020) My block failed after a year due to error code E5 (refrigerant leak). I contacted AloAir support. They were incredibly responsive, requested some photos of the device and sent me a replacement within days. I would prefer the device not to fail, but I am very pleased that this company stands behind their product. I am still very happy with my purchase.----------------------------------------------------- ----------- ----- ------------------------------ ---- - So happy I spent the extra bucks on this unit over $300 condo units. Runs quietly and wicks away moisture very effectively. It took about 24 hours to move my 1,000 square foot basement from 65% to 50%, it has since held 50% and has only run 27 hours in the last three weeks. Fingers crossed, it's been like this for years. Will report on reliability over time. The only complaint is that the humidity controls support 5% increments. I would have liked to have been able to fine-tune the setting, but that's a small issue.
