A really necessary purchase, glad I found this product.

Those who, like me, dislike the appearance of the Xbox 360 or anything else about it, as well as people who don't want to overpay for a controller will find the Logitech F710 to be an excellent option. And moreover, for individuals who do not wish to frequently invest money in charging batteries or purchasing new ones. In addition, in my opinion, the F710 is now the best gamepad available for use with a computer. Various pros: First and foremost, the amount of power that is consumed. Full batteries lasted me for an entire four months! The Steam count reveals that this game has been played for more than 100 hours! And this was despite the fact that practically all of the games had the vibration feature activated. When the batteries run out, the LED will flash continuously, and the vibration will stop. Also, it is able to work for a very extended period of time in this mode. Also, this is a full emulation of the Xbox 360 gamepad in terms of software, which means that games believe the Xbox 360 is attached when it is not. Users of the F710 will not experience any issues with the control of these games because the vast majority of recent games have been modified specifically for the gamepad that comes along with the Xbox 360. Extremely cozy, nice to the touch, very fluid analog sticks and triggers, stereo vibration (tested on Jericho), and solid assembly. There is a mode switch, and when it is set to its second mode, the controller becomes a rumble pad. The only games in which this feature has proven useful so far are Fahrenheit and Assassin's Creed. The vibration may be turned off manually on the F710, and it will turn it off automatically in situations when there is an unreasonable amount of it (as in NFS Underground 2). There is a control switch that can be used to switch between the left stick and the D-pad, which has proven to be useful on multiple occasions (for example, in Trine). This switch is a miniature receiver, and there is a place for it in the gamepad itself. And last but not least, the F710 is the gamepad that Steam's Large Picture option recommends using. Some cons: It is possible for the connection to be lost if there is an obstruction in the path between the controller and the receiver, such as a table wall, for instance. That is completely remedied by putting the receiver in the line-of-sight zone while making use of the full extension cord. In this scenario, the gamepad will work at least 10 meters from the gamepad, and never lose connection at all! Cross that is just a little bit playful. That pretty about sums it up.
