The pin is not very high quality, cheap, but it looks nice and gives character and style. The back of the dragon and crystal are shaped like a pin, which I don't like, but works well. The chains are quite flimsy and will likely break if even slightly snagged on something, but add a nice touch. The dragon head has a wonderful amount of detail, but unfortunately it's not very visible unless you get close enough. From afar, I'm not sure anyone could even tell it's a scorpionfish. They are packaged in a cute box, which makes them a gift, but the boxes (I've ordered a few needles from this company) aren't always well made. When they are, it looks a little classier, and when they aren't, it looks cheap. In the box, the needle is packed in a small plastic bag with a zipper. It seems cheap to me when the jewelry comes in a plastic bag. While the packaging doesn't prevent the pin from slipping around in the box, which unfortunately causes such pins with chains to become tangled, it wasn't difficult to untangle.
