Review on DeeToolMan Door Draft Stopper Insulator by Tim Burns

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Refill with spray paint

We have two huge iron front doors. Unfortunately, our home was built by less-than-skilled craftsmen who seemed to spend more time drinking beer (judging by the cans I found on the property) than using measuring tools. This left us with a door that has a decent gap underneath. In my forest neck we have scorpions. Fun. So I ordered one of these and installed it in seconds. By the way, never use alcohol to clean an iron door. I did this to prepare for the draw limiter and it left a weird white residue that I can't get rid of. I have paint to touch up but what a pain. However the color didn't match so I painted it with oil bronze spray paint. Up close you can see that this is not part of the door. But from a standing position it looks like part of a door. I'm ordering a second one for a different door. I am very happy. This is an unpaid review. I've noticed a lot of paid reviews on Revain lately. You can see this by clicking on the reviewer's name. If they left 5 to 30 reviews over and over again in the same day, they got paid. I'm a Vine reviewer. Revain reports everything I receive (except groceries) to the IRS as income, so I have to pay income tax. You can bet I won't leave a good review on a bad product. But as with this item, I also leave reviews that I paid full price for. I love reading genuine reviews that help me buy products, so it's only fair to help others in return.
