I should have read the description more carefully, I thought it was natural bristles but it turned out to be synthetic. Even out of the box some of the bristles are curled back and splayed and need trimming, this cannot be fixed. So I would expect the bristles to snap back if they get caught on something or with normal use and you need to trim them. The bristles are very fine and suitable for delicate work. I definitely wouldn't use them under the hood as shown on the product page. More for the instrument cluster and maybe around the buttons and so on. However, I prefer natural bristles for all of this work. You have to decide for yourself. But at this price I wouldn't do it again or recommend it.
