I gave this to my daughter for St Paddy's Day along with some books and it became an instant favorite. She is 6 months old. I mentioned to her pediatrician that she had trouble falling asleep on her own because she always wanted to snuggle and hold onto something. Her doctor said that she might be a little enamored with her torso size as she is old enough to lift, roll over etc. That was my main motivation for getting this. It didn't have a stuffed animal head like most enthusiasts, but it was still visually and structurally interesting to them. It also wasn't big enough to get tangled around her neck and not thick enough for her to choke on (I gave it to her when she was 8 months old). She likes to hold it when she falls asleep and has a quiet chat with it for about 45 minutes every morning when she wakes up. Now she is 10 months old and still happy. Good buy.
