As others have said both clips broke on my first try to close them. Luckily the originals from 20 years ago were still good and I stole them from the old one to make it work. I cut the fiberglass on the tailgate to make it easier. much easier. Without her it would be MORE nightmare. Nothing hurts with the skin is not visible. When pulling it in and out, I bent the locking mechanism and the lock didn't work with the key. I had to bend it to make it work. Once you struggle with all of this, it works great.
