First off, let me say this is NOT for you if you plan on wearing this while sleeping and lying on your back! I sleep on my stomach or on my side so using this thing wasn't that bad, it just had to get us into it. It does what it says on the tin, just know that those waves don't last all day. When I use my iron they do, but I suspect the lack of heat and damage is why they didn't make it through the day. In general, it was not scary! You just have to try and get used to it and try to use fewer thermal tools and that's a good start. Maybe it will get better with time.
