I thought twice before buying a felt roll DIY wand because I was worried about cutting it. However, I have a lot of baskets on the new wood shelves, and the pre-cut circles and squares, which I was fed up with before, didn't cover the floor enough to avoid scratching the wood. Using a pair of strong scissors it was quite easy to cut 2 long strips, round off the corners and glue them to the bottom of the baskets. Now I can easily hook them in and out of the shelves without damaging the wood. At the moment (1 month of regular use) the support is perfect - high marks as the bottom of the rattan baskets is uneven! I am happy with this purchase.
