I am currently using my iPhone 6+ on a custom made dock mount that also charges but wanted to try it. The overall quality of the product seems decent enough and the presence of the charging cable is nice. If you barely touch your phone while driving, this mount feels solid enough. However, when you use it as a music player and touch the phone with moderate touches, the phone moves quite easily. This is due to the large gap between the back of the phone and the actual mount when connected to the cable. The phone does not rest/stand flush against the mount and due to the narrow base, the phone twists/moves quite easily when you press the outside edges of the phone. This could be a great mount if it was sturdier, but unfortunately for my use this mount doesn't work. However, if you have a large case with a battery, this mount will likely work better due to the extra space. . However, if you intend to use a thin case or none at all, the extra clearance can create movement issues when touching the phone while installed.
