I love this device. We have chickens and cats and the mice over run the chicken pen.the cats are not able to get inside the chicken pen. We did not want to put poison out. So we tried these traps. the first evening we caught 4 the second evening we caught 4 again. We did not put water in the bucket.Just pnut butter on the inside where the instructions say and bird seed in the bucket. Ithen relocated the mice to an unpopulated area in the country so the raptors, snakes and other creatures that eat them could have dinner if they chose.
