I have purchased this rope (3/8" x 500ft) 3 times since fall 2021. I used the last reel today and this is the first time this rope has floated on the surface I bought a nylon rope because its specific gravity is greater than water so it shouldn't float.This rope floated and stayed afloat for 30 minutes (so I can't blame it for air getting into the shell) and that's why I had to remove it otherwise the outboard motor propeller will growl. I'm very disappointed. Also, I left it in the sun for a few days and it turned bright yellow. That's never happened. Damn. What a disappointment (and a waste of 100 dollars).
