Junk rope, Avoid at all costs!

Based on my experience, this rope is not suitable for automotive use. While the price point is attractive, the quality is noticeably POOR. The rope frayed and broke after only a few uses, rendering it useless in an emergency situation. The only positive is the strong initial appearance, but that illusion quickly fades in the face of actual use. Do not waste your money on this inferior product. .

I doubt it was Nylon

I have purchased this rope (3/8" x 500ft) 3 times since fall 2021. I used the last reel today and this is the first time this rope has floated on the surface I bought a nylon rope because its specific gravity is greater than water so it shouldn't float.This rope floated and stayed afloat for 30 minutes (so I can't blame it for air getting into the shell) and that's why I had to remove it otherwise the outboard motor propeller will growl.
