This product did what it promised. The pace has slowed down significantly. Installation was easy. When I took out the drive, I felt heat on the heatsink. Transferred great. BUT after installing a heatsink my drive is now corrupted. A brand new 2TB Mushkin Pilot-e worth over $200. Luckily it's still under warranty, otherwise I'd be very upset. My suggestion is if you're not writing to NVME a lot all the time, don't worry and you probably won't experience overheating and slowdown. It's just not worth the risk in my opinion
