Review on Koch 5011635 Twisted Polypropylene Rope - 1/2 inch, 50ft - Brown | Versatile Rope for Various Applications by Dink Rivas

I bought this rope to tie to a tree for my pit bull to attach large toys to and when I cut than it started tearing into separate layers, it has a waxy coating almost like plastic rope, it is very difficult to tie and does not hold a knot well. Maybe I'm knitting wrong. But not the rope I expected. Not very strong when it comes to my dog tearing it apart with a 9 month old pit bull puppy and tearing it to pieces. It is also not recommended for dogs to tie or reinforce toys as the pieces will be torn and pose a choking hazard. Do not recommend this rope for animals or swings unless you know how to tie it in another type of knot. I expected more from a thick hemp rope than from a waxed boat rope.
