The day of digital recording has arrived. I went to Staples to have my tape recorder replaced only to find they were no longer available from Staples. I could have made a purchase through Revain but decided it was time, in my small five-attorney law firm, the letters, documents, etc. were lower than anywhere else online or offline. My only issues with digital writing, and I believe it's a process issue, not a product issue, is that Gmail, the medium for delivering the final product to my assistant, has an attachment size limit, which I can't deliver to their computer product one whole day at a time but I have to split it up throughout the day and send about ten articles at a time and it takes way longer than I want to download my dictation to send to her. I'm idly waiting for the download and wasting time waiting. These issues aside, the device is easy to use, and when the dictation gets to my assistant, she can easily open, listen to, and type my letters or other documents to print and send.
