A good product. in Portable Audio & Video

This is the first digital recorder I bought so that others might have better comparative reviews. Great product for clear recordings, sensitive microphone. I bought it to record conversations (another reviewer noted that they used it to ask relatives about family history - great idea). For example "voice only recording" which allows you not to waste time recording with no noise. The speaker was pretty clear (I usually use headphones anyway). It's very easy to transfer files to and from my…

The best recorder I've had in years and I've had a .

Best recorder I've had in years and I've had them all, Olympus, Pearlcorder, other Sony recorders, all media formats from tape to flash. It's a lot more reliable than I thought. I particularly like the retractable USB connector, which also charges the battery. In less than two years there hasn't been a need to buy batteries. Expandable storage is great. The interface with the computer is simple and convenient. Sensitive built-in microphones, good sound pickup. The ability to record in different

Use it all the time

This little device takes amazing quality pictures. The built-in microphone perfectly picks up the voices of the people sitting at the table. While it has features I'll never use, it comes with software that makes it easy to edit recordings, manage recording files in file folders, and make managing recordings in general much easier. It's small, charges from my laptop while I download vinyl, and always works. The controls are easy to use (record and stop). I can't think of any features I wouldn't

Replaced my radio with a minidisk.

I was very happy with the Sony minidisc recorders but found them expensive and increasingly difficult to find. I didn't expect this "Voice Recorder" to be so useful for recording our bands' rehearsals. I have to be right about the sound quality of the internal mics, but I've started using the Sony ECM-MS907 as an external mic and I'm very happy. There is enough storage, but the optional microSD card comes in handy. The built-in USB port is easy to use with my PC to download, edit and add…

worth the extra money compared to icd-px312

at least for me. After reading the reviews of the PX312, here are the reasons I settled on this one for a little more money over the PX312: 1. It has an internal USB output that EXPANDS which is great because.2. it can charge rechargeable AAA batteries via USB (the recorder only uses ONE AAA battery, not two in the px312, and the battery that comes with the product is RECHARGEABLE). Combined with (1), this means you can conveniently charge your recorder while transferring recording files to any

Digital recording in portable audio and video devices

The day of digital recording has arrived. I went to Staples to have my tape recorder replaced only to find they were no longer available from Staples. I could have made a purchase through Revain but decided it was time, in my small five-attorney law firm, the letters, documents, etc. were lower than anywhere else online or offline. My only issues with digital writing, and I believe it's a process issue, not a product issue, is that Gmail, the medium for delivering the final product to my…
