It's a shame you can't find this in hardware stores.

Wow! If you've never tried a zipper puller before, you'll be delighted. This allows the tie to be tightened so much that it breaks. Most people reviewing this tool are using it incorrectly. It's not their fault - there are NO instructions. When I got it I said which end goes where? You install the cable tie as usual and tighten it by hand. For a zipper, place the tool on the tail with the small orange lever pointing towards the connector or closest to the item to be tied. Squeeze the big lever until it's as tight as you want. Push the tool inward (toward the workpiece) after each squeeze to take up any slack. Push all the way back. You can overdo it and break the tie. If you do, don't worry, I did too. This is part of the learning process. Now that you know where the breakpoint is, do it a little less. When you are done dressing, push the orange lever and it will cut the tie flush with the tie. Hope that helps. Always buy more ties than you need, you will break a few. A few words about binding types. There are 50lb, 125lb, 175lb and 250lb cable ties. You can guess which ones are heavy, they are thicker and tend to be longer, mark the small ones you usually see. This tool is designed to work with 125 gauge and heavier cable ties. I haven't tried it on the little ones because usually you just have to tighten your hand. I think it would work if you were gentle with it.

Pros
  • Tension up to 65 pounds (29.5 kg)
Cons
