Color Fades FAST - Exhaust and Emissions

So I had to trim it first to get it the right length for my Suzuki RMZ 250. I have a full titanium Yoshimura RS4 exhaust system and I have a small dent in the pipe so I thought I'd get something to hide that and that's how I stop getting calls. The key to getting the fit right is that you have to place it on the pipe and bend each piece very tightly. Then to finish this I used a soft rubber handled screwdriver and pressed on the handle to get leverage on the tabs to bend them as tight as possible around the pipe. As you can see in the picture I use three steel ties for attachment. It doesn't move and is very tight, but I haven't ridden it to see if it makes any noise or vibration. I would have preferred some sort of heat resistant seal between this and the pipe, but I don't know if there is such a thing as these pipes are very hot and can melt anything that isn't metal. I think it looks pretty decent and hopefully it will last and do its job and keep the red color. If not, I'll have to take it off and repaint it with red anodized spray paint. almost completely faded. I'm afraid if I take it off and paint it it won't hold as tight. :(
