I bought these shoes for my son for Christmas and he loves them. He thought they were the coolest shoes in the world, and so did his friends. The lights change from red, yellow, green, blue, purple, white and flashing lights. He can give each shoe a different color or combine them in the same color. He wears them about 3-4 times a week and I only have to charge them once a week which is great. Hooking her up for one night is all we really need for the whole week. I was very happy to find her in this metallic blue, bright and metallic - a very attractive color for a 5 year old. I was nervous that the metal surface would be difficult to keep clean, but that was no problem at all. I have to clean the white light area more often, but nothing out of the ordinary compared to other white sole shoes. The reason I am giving this product 4 stars and not 5 is because one of the indicators on the left shoe has failed and is permanently purple.
