By using these studs and traditional gas struts it is now perfect and up to date
They are so handy when replacing old gas struts with more modern models. Used this for a rear window sunroof on my hard top Jeep CJ. The originals were very loud with spring sounds. Now, with the use of those studs and traditional gas struts, it's perfect and contemporary.
