Durability I don't know yet but I like that it fits exactly how I need it. A while back my daughter had size 4 Jazz shoes (brand unknown) that she burned a hole in with her big toe so I figured it was time to get new shoes. I know that these style of jazz shoes stretch as the foot grows, but I kept the sizing in mind and the actual shoe was slightly larger than the chart size, so it doesn't matter. I actually followed the size number when ordering. Daughter wears outdoor shoes in size 5/5.5 and I ordered 6. They're a little bigger than she needs, but not too loose. Danceable and can grow. Add a piece of thick moleskin leather behind the heel for a perfect fit. I bought jazz shoes from another brand "Tent Adult" in a size 6 and although the length was the same, the circumference of the shoe (near the midfoot) of this other brand was too big making it feel loose. This brand we bought here was perfect. Remember these are adult sizes. So when you look at a child's foot size, it varies, especially from a size 4 or 5 for a large child. A size 4 or size 5 adult is NOT the same size as a large child. Size 4 or 5. It's important to measure adult shoes when you buy them.
