Edit: I contacted customer service because the case leaked during the water test. They sent me a new case promptly (as if it had literally arrived the next morning). The new case was perfect and waterproof. I tested it for over half an hour with no leaks. The customer service representative was very helpful and nice. Great case, great customer service, great company. Original Rating: I tested it for waterproofness 3 times using the instructions that came with it. It leaked through the speaker's top vent and around the fingerprint scanner every time. I even replaced the sticker on the fingerprint scanner to see if that was the problem. Even with leaks, it takes about 2-4 minutes underwater for water to enter. In addition, it is a durable and beautiful case. You can use screen protectors in addition to this case, but it is not required. I would say that this case is suitable for everyday use. It protects your phone from falls, rain and accidental drops into the water, but it is not suitable for swimming. Calls can also be a little reverberant in this case, but I think most cases like this have the same problem. Good deal at $20
