Review on Black Diamond Climbing Gloves Medium by Heidi Harter

These gloves did a great job on my recent climb to the top of Half Dome in Yosemite. A few others we've seen have tried using $5 leather gardening gloves or even lined bike gloves to lift those cables (google images and you'll see what I'm talking about) and had all sorts of problems. These gloves have excellent grip and are completely non-slip, which is very important for your safety in the mountains. My wife was on this trip and when she responded the first words out of her mouth (after "Hello Honey" of course) were that these gloves were fantastic and I had to write a Revain review about them. Not only were they perfect for rope, they also kept her hands in great shape when using them on steep slopes with her monkey bars. She wasn't a free climber (so she didn't use her fingertips to climb rocks) but she recommends these 100%. It is also not very visible in the photo, but there are holes in the wrist straps so you can attach gloves to the backpack with a carabiner.
