I need a PIV card for my work computers. This is a fantastic reader - it's small, light weight and much faster than the PIV readers my employer supplied. " in the open position. I have this reader at the end of a long USB extension cable and it's attached to my PIV card hanging from my shirt (think a tie - the setup). When I move around too much , folds that together The part starts to rotate and close, which is enough to make me lose connection with the chip and I have to open it again, it's not bad - as I said, it has very fast access - it's just annoying. It would be nice if it was "locked" in the open state. Also, I love it and highly recommend it.
