Bought these on a 1999 Jeep Wrangler TJ Hard Top to replace the ones that blew up. They fit perfectly and are not too tight. I have already replaced this type of cylinders (different brand) and it looked like I would break the window when trying to shut it down as they were too hard. Not these! You are perfect. Maybe a little harsh, but that's to be expected. In fact, it is possible to drive with the rear window open if necessary.
