Review on 🌬️ Enhanced Replacement Blower Assembly for TYC 700270 by Adam Davidson

This part fits and works well. I can hardly tell any difference in sound between this and the original, but it can be a bit louder on the highest setting. But if you hadn't pointed it out, I wouldn't have noticed. Look at the photos - it's on the left and the Ford Motorcraft part that came off my 2010 Mercury Milan (aka Ford Fusion) is on the right. Very similar construction and materials, although I'm glad this replacement is a bit heavier than the factory original. This one has a metal clasp on the hub which the original doesn't have but is very happy with the quality. It seems to work smoothly and in a balanced way. Installation was successful - it took a 7/32 head to loosen the three factory screws. Of course had to replace the fan blower resistor and wire harness to the resistor as the resistor overheated and the wire harness melted. Usually these fans accumulate deposits in the motor bearings which slows down causing the motor to draw more current causing the resistor to overheat and melting the wiring harness. No complicated install/replacement, definitely worth saving a few hundred bucks in mechanics for an easily accessible fork and replacement part. Replace blower, resistor and wire harness at the same time. Arrived in <24 hours with next day delivery. Good value for money. happy customer
