🌬️ Enhanced Replacement Blower Assembly for TYC 700270 Review

I'm not sure why Ford can't figure out how to make a long life fan, but it looks like they can't. I'm also not sure why retailers think this fan should cost so much. Fortunately, Amazon and this product come to the rescue!

Fits great and works well. My 2011 Ford Fusion heater failed and is now working great. Pretty easy installation, the worst part was finding and connecting the new wiring harness to the resistor. This part is good value for money.

Perfect for the 2011 Ford Fusion unfortunately it makes as much noise as the engine I was trying to replace. This blower did not eliminate the chirping at all and does the same chirping from the start instead of waiting a few months. Also, the design is such that it cannot be disassembled like an original part to lubricate noisy parts. The company didn't answer me either. Spend money on an OEM part.

I installed this on my 2010 Ford Fusion Sport 2 days ago. So far everything has been perfect. Calm. It doesn't seem to have as much power as the OEM, but they wanted $202 locally here. I'll update this for reliability if I run into any issues. It fits perfectly and easily installs in 10 minutes if you have the right tools. UPDATE: It is now March 25th, 2017 and the new fan motor is starting to chirp or make the "cricket" noise I should have started with. I'll try to apply for a guarantee…

The fan arrived and was mostly well packaged. I bought this for a 2012 Ford Fusion SEL and it fits perfectly. Replacement is easy as you only need to unplug a connector and unscrew three 5.5mm screws and then the fan will pop out from under the dash/glove box. Unfortunately, this is where the good news ends and the bad begins. The original fan started making a chirping noise so I bought this replacement but with this one I went from one noise to another. This part fits and works well. I can hardly tell any difference in sound between this and the original, but it can be a bit louder on the highest setting. But if you hadn't pointed it out, I wouldn't have noticed. Look at the photos - it's on the left and the Ford Motorcraft part that came off my 2010 Mercury Milan (aka Ford Fusion) is on the right.
