This is a miracle. My husband and I just bought a house and the water is very hard. It seems the previous owners never attempted to remove hard water from shower doors and walls. First I tried vinegar and dawn and it didn't even scratch the surface. Then I tried Scrubbing Bubbles and it was the same as the vinegar/dawn solution. I felt so defeated. I did a little research and bought Bar Keepers Friend. It really worked when rubbed down with a piece of grade 0000 steel wool. Unfortunately it took me about 2 hours to wash a quarter of the window in the shower. My hand also felt like it was about to fall off. I was determined, so I did more research. I found this stuff. I was so excited I opened it up in the mail within minutes of receiving it. I applied it to 0000 grade steel wool and started scrubbing it off. BINGO! It took me about 15 minutes to delete the same section as Bar Keepers Friend. I won't lie, this thing needs a lot of attention, but it definitely works. This removed what appeared to be years of hard water stains. Maybe the people who say it doesn't work are just not paying enough attention. I've read that people are bothered by the smell, but it didn't really bother me. It has an odor but it's not very harsh and it's perfectly durable. This is on my always in my house list! I love this stuff!
