I didn't know about the HEPA filter. This limits the suction power if it is not replaced regularly.

I have a Hoover wind tunnel vacuum that I bought in 2011. I knew the sponge filter and washed it regularly. The suction power seemed to diminish over the years. Then I found out where the HEPA filter is. This set is ideal for this vacuum cleaner model. My HEPA filter was very dirty and clogged. It needs to be replaced. When I did this, the suction improved to the level it had when I bought the vacuum.
