I was expecting really smaller and less functional items. They are made in China. They're made of plastic. Therefore, they are as strong and durable as the plastic drawers in your fridge. Looking at my fridge, not that impressive. But there are 10 of them and a variety of sizes. Really big variety. And I like that they are deep. Our last apartment fridge had a shelf collapse, we bought yogurt in bowls and used bowls which seemed to work as long as they didn't get wet. They are difficult to wash. They can be washed and are translucent. Just pull out to put things back. Maybe we won't lose the leftovers now. Great gift when you get a nice box.
