A few months ago I ordered some polymer bushings for my 2004 WJ Grand Cherokee steering shaft to fix a fatal wobble problem I was having. I didn't purchase the recommended lube from an off-road parts company (not to be named) that makes the bushings because they wanted $5 for a small, pea-sized tube of their "special lube." However, after installing the bushings, I heard a horrible squeaking noise that was driving me insane, and a quality lube was required. After a little research I found that Super Lube comes highly recommended for polyurethane bushings. I removed the tie rod bushings, cleaned everything, applied Super Lube to all bushings and contact points on the tie rod and. TA Dah! No more squeaking! I love this stuff! Buy it. use it! PS: Revain must have updated their packaging from previous reviews. My tube was packaged in its own sealed plastic bag inside the box to avoid spills/mess!
