Non-flammable oil for a wide temperature range

This is a version with a viscosity of 1000 cSt and a viscosity similar to 30 wt motor oil. It maintains this viscosity over a wide temperature range. This product is good for lubricating valves, o-rings, seals and gaskets in food machinery, but will work with anything you need to lubricate (especially plastic and rubber). It seems that it does not react with anything and is a dielectric (does not conduct electricity). It can be used (within specification) as a dampening fluid in oil-filled…

Pros
  • Good fire resistance
Cons
  • Expensive

Food Grade Lubricant

Ideal for lubricating Zojirushi paddle hubs that tend to seize over time. Since the hub is not removable for maintenance, the usual solution is to replace the entire baking pan (expensive). I turned the pan upside down, removed the snap rings and washers, tapped the hub with a hammer until I could loosen it and get it working again, then poured a few drops of this grease onto the shaft and left it under the for some time gravity soak days. After replacing the washers and snap rings the bread…

Pros
  • High and Low Temperature Stability
Cons
  • Brittle

I bought this for my dice (spiky puzzles). I didn't know what viscosity shock oil to buy, this was sold by Revain and they offered a great amount for the price so I went with this one. It's really thin and slippery. This makes the cubes feel a bit sticky, but it increases control and doesn't affect speed when the pieces start moving. 180 clicks are pretty easy with that. It will make even the loudest cubes quieter. I also have a Traxxas diff oil, which I just refer to as base lube (it's too…

Pros
  • Excellent dielectric properties
Cons
