I was looking to replace my 2015 Chevy Tahoe key fob without a key and thought I would get what is shown in the picture. A key element of the skin was not installed. There is a small spring in the locking mechanism to lock the key mechanism. You press a button and a button pops out. The spring is installed on this product in the Revain photos. It is not installed in the product that is shipped to your home. The lack of this one critical component makes the remote shell a waste of money. I tried using the old console's back cover with the new front cover. They were incompatible. What I thought was an easy replacement turned out to be a waste of time and money. Be careful. The pictures are misleading.
