Wow! I mean wow! - Small Appliance Parts and Accessories

Debbidu emailed me shortly after purchasing this product. I just accidentally opened the letter before going to the store to buy groceries for the big meal I am preparing for my colleagues on Christmas Day while they are on duty. I had a huge hunk of beef left in my Weber and lots of side dishes in the works. A lot of people don't eat red meat, so I desperately needed to find another protein alternative. Pressure cooking a whole chicken in a slow cooker seemed like the perfect solution! I took a chance on buying a beer can holder and it fucking paid off! Anyway, I opened the email before going to the store and read that they recommended a whole chicken under 4 pounds. I took their advice and when I got home I emailed them and asked how long I should cook it (I was having a serious tie crisis and wanted to save time researching). They responded almost immediately. So while I prepped everything else, I put a cup of water on the stove, made a can of beer (minus a sip here and there), and added something flavorful (inside and out_ chicken. I went for the pressure cooker option, smack 15 minutes and there you go, just like I'm running around with other things! Can you imagine? I was able to put on the pressure cooker and run away to do other things with no safety issues! After manually releasing the pressure, I pulled the bird out and amazed! To clarify a few things: I have cooked for 20 people in shifts, I have cooked many dishes at the same time, have not used a pressure cooker in years, and when, was it with guidance. I am a vegetarian! I have to trust my equipment, and tasting is not an option!Nice roast but I didn't find it necessary. It looked amazing just the way it is!Cut it out and be amazed brightly lit presentation! I'd love to do more chicken but since it was a special request I just made that! As a vegetarian I don't really understand meat but I love to cook and make people happy! I use my Weber charcoal grill for my friends and have cooked many beer can chickens. This new holder makes any beer can chicken recipe even easier as it comes with handles! The handles were amazing when I took the chicken out of the Instant Pot. I suppose taking it off a traditional grill will be even easier!

Pros
  • The grill can cook 4 lb or less chicken upright using the beer can method in 6 quarts. and a larger chicken in 8 qt.
Cons
  • Hard to say
