Bought this tank for the office a few days ago. I wanted something compact that I could keep on my rooster counter. So far I've been generally dissatisfied with the tank. My concerns are: 1) The filter is very efficient for such a small tank. I bought a FLUVAL EDGE pre-filter sponge, cut the end off, cut it in half and secured it at the exit with a rubber band. This helped keep my poor betta from spreading all over the tank. 2) Rounded corners greatly disturb the view of the aquarium. I found the square shape interesting, but most of the time it's really difficult to find my fish. 3) The LED lights are not particularly bright and again do not make the display optimal. The tank is on my desk. I have to duck to see if my fish is anywhere other than directly in front of me. 5) The feed port is located directly in the center of the top section in front of the filter outlet. Before I put the sponge on the filter outlet, the lining was scattered around the perimeter (again due to the heavy filter outlet due to the size of the tank). I'm not a big fan of this tank. I wish I could just go with a more traditional 2.5 gallon mini bow.
